I recently redid the publications page for OmniSeq at https://www.omniseq.com/publications/ . The scientific publications had been listed as posts in the category Publications. We changed this so each publication was now a custom type post Article. Each article had a publication month and a particular type of cancer the publication addressed. These were then displayed in a filterable table. The result is a quicker lookup for scientific visitors and reporters who visit the website.
