We have been creating websites that offer memberships or subscriptions for over 10 years. Here are some examples of member benefits:
- Access to salary surveys in your industry
- Free online classes in your field
- Free registration for in-person meetings
The Women’s Eco Art Dialog had a custom coded membership website that was difficult to maintain. We used MemberPress to set up their membership tiers and limit access to protected content. Artist members can edit their profile and add their portfolio. MemberPress reminders helps members renew on time.
Nested Baby developed childbirth and newborn care videos during covid. Parents purchased access through WooCommerce and had viewing access to the videos for a month through WooCommerce memberships.
For the Independent Publishers of New England, members can see webinars about book selling and receive a discount to the annual conference. We used a Gravity Form front end for user registration with custom code adding the member to the correct membership plans.
The Bodega Water Company takes their water supply very seriously. Members can log in and view their water consumption history. They can also view the overall production of each well per month.
The Illinois Obesity Society was manually emailing members for renewal payments each year. We used MemberPress to collect annual dues and configured automatic reminder emails to be sent when their membership was expiring.
The Genetic Counselors’ Education Association ( GCEA ) consists of professors at member universities. Much of their work is public but some sensitive information is for members only. We implemented a reliable payment system that allows a department representative to pay for multiple seats for their department. The department rep shares a link with colleagues and each professor has their own login. Members have access to salary surveys, meeting notes and educational content.
Dr. Pannain was beginning a webinar series for gastroenterologists. Access to the webinars was free, but she needed to track indivdual attendance. The webinars also had to be available to those registered after the webinar ended. We built https://obesitynext.org/ to achieve these requirements.
