Grace is a young lady who has fought through many health issues and has now founded her own non-profit charity Having Faith Cures.  For every headband the charity sells, it also gives one to a child with cancer or other life threatening illness.

I was happy to build a WordPress website for Grace and her non-profit.  My recent go-to theme has been Divi from Elegant Themes because of its amazing flexibility and its community support.  Grace really like the BluChic theme Isabelle.  The softer feminine look was appealing for the customer base of moms and daughters.  BluChic could benefit from a customer forum like Elegant Themes has.  All technical questions need to be put in as tickets.  I have the feeling they get the same questions many times because of some weak areas of documentation.

Grace is wonderful to work with.  One we set up the basic WooCommerce shop, she and her mother added headbands quickly.  They started with PayPal as the payment gateway, but soon switched to Square.  This required an SSL certificate, which we purchased through goDaddy.  The WooCommerce Square extension was easy to install and use.  Square allows the customers to pay on the website without being redirected to PayPal.

Grace has added blog posts, forms and new art work to keep the website fresh. An Instagram feed is displayed on the sidebar.  Grace also highlights “warrior princesses” who have received headbands.

We are happy to be a part of Grace’s ministry.
