April 2020

This is such a strange time.  Even clients in the medical billing area are laying off or taking furloughs.  Catering businesses are cooking meals for homeless shelters to feed the hungry while keeping some staff employed.  Patrons line up carefully to buy from a bakery that is now only open very rarely.

Here’s what R3C was able to do this month:

  • Supported a 100 person conference that was conducted online instead of in person.  Each attendee had a website account that allowed access to conference handouts and videos.  We used LearnDash to organize the conference sessions.
  • Enabled customers of Greene County Farmer’s Market to pre-order produce, baked goods, meats and seedlings.  Pick up is done Saturday morning at the market.  We used WCFM Marketplace to keep each farmer’s account and products separate.
  • Posted online sermons for a local church.
  • Configured video courses to be viewable for one month after purchase.  Used WooCommerce Memberships and Wistia to host videos.

We are using PostMark on several websites now for email delivery.  This is working extremely well.

Video storage on amazon s3 is also working well.  It is a wonderful value for the money.  It is also pointless to ask them for support, but that is OK.  There are forums out there.

Hoping that May is a better and healthier month for our country.
