Divi Website for Church

This church website is made with WordPress using the Divi theme. The homepage is easy to use, with simple menus at the top that help visitors find what they need. As you scroll down, you see links to current and upcoming events and ways to help out, showing what the church offers beyond just worship. The menus at the top lead you to information about the church’s goals, staff, childcare, community services, prayer support, and Sunday School for kids from PreK to fifth grade.

Technical Details

Church hosting remained on SiteGround, which does fairly well.  The Sermon Manager from WP for Church was used for sermon libraries and the Sermon Manager Pro for the Divi module they provide.  The Divi module was in beta and did not implement pagination correctly.  After many requests for help, WP for Church did fix this issue.

We use contact form 7 for basic contact forms and added Gravity Forms for online permission slips.  We tried several plugins for the staff directory, including Divi Staff from Monterey Premier .  That was disappointing and I ended up using a static layout for the staff page.

We did like Divi Team Members from Divi Professional for our leadership page and DP Portfolio Posts Pro for blog posts.
