Website:  www.thecentrevillebikeshop.com

The Bike Shop in Centreville is a great place for old fashioned personal service and high quality bike repairs.  But it lagged in terms of website and social media.

I posted earlier about the new Google Place page for The Bike Shop.  This is still where most people see their information, up to 7000 impressions per month in the summer.

A website is still the only place online where you the business owner control the entire message.  The Bike Shop’s domain had expired and they were in dire need of a new site.

We picked a responsive theme which highlights the contact info and hours when sized down to a mobile phone screen.  In full screen mode, a slideshow displays the new and used bikes sold at The Bike Shop.  We also highlight the repair experiences of the long-time staff.  A popular area of the website is the listing of used bikes on hand.

Once the basic website was completed and connected to the Google Place page, we moved on to looking at links.  The Bike Shop sells bikes, parts and gear that are in demand.  Many cyclists use the manufacturers’ “find a dealer” app to locate a store close by.  We now have listings and / or links from bicycle brands such as Marin and Phat Cycles.
