I love working on the Sweet Somethings Desserts website.  Their pastry chefs are amazingly talented and they remember to take pictures of their custom cakes!

I had created a WordPress website for Lee Slaninko several years ago, using Deep Focus from Elegant Themes.  Leo Slaninko is a graphic designer and created the custom logo and headers.

The website was due for an ugrade and Lee chose a design using Divi from Elegant Themes.  He wanted the home page to be clean and to show off their product.  We decided against a home page slider to keep the page loading speed quicker.

The Sweet Somethings desserts range from simple cookies all the way up to elaborate wedding cakes.  We highlighted these on a redesigned menu page:  http://sweetsomethingsdesserts.com/desserts-menu/ Custom php code has the menu label showing only on hover.

Another requirement for this upgrade was that the galleries show quickly and in high resolution. It was more difficult to find a plugin than I had expected. I ended up very happy with Content Views Pro ( not an affiliate ).

Sweet Somethings Desserts has received many awards and wonderful reviews. We load the most recent reviews from Yelp, Google and Facebook here: http://sweetsomethingsdesserts.com/reviews/ New awards and national press are listed here: http://sweetsomethingsdesserts.com/awards/.

If you ever find yourself in Wilmington, Delaware, stop by Sweet Somethings and try a maple bacon cupcake!
