I am working with a wedding photographer to redo a site that depends on Flash and is not responsive. On my smart phone, the opening video does not play and the text on the website is too small to read.
The photographer is looking for a lighter, more delicate image. There are many appealing WordPress themes out there for spas, weddings, engagements and photographers. I’m recommending the Geraldine theme from BluChic that has an updated feminine feel to it. It is responsive; the most important parts of the site show well on a smart phone. The customer support so far is very quick. It has a nice set of theme options and the requisite slider. The typography and graphics are excellent.
The gallery is a bit of a weak spot and something we sacrifice by not going with a dedicated photography theme. I am confident we can find a plugin that will provide a few different looks for wedding photography categories.
