Sarah Sutton is a transformation coach – she helps people make real and lasting healthy changes in their lives. Her company is Truce Coaching in Sterling VA and she works with clients in person and over the phone.
She had a nice html website and a separate blog on WordPress. Her main goals were SEO ranking and updating the site easily. WordPress is s good platform for both these goals. Sarah was already an experienced WordPress blogger, so it was natural to take the blog site and expand it for her main website. We targeted her website pages in a more focused way for her core audiences. We use SEO Yoast for help ranking in google for Sarah’s most important keywords.
We changed the .htaccess file so former links would redirect nicely to their new locations.
My website work always includes an hour of basic WordPress training. In Sarah’s case, we spoke about Search Engine Optimization keywords and focusing her writing to reach people who need her most. We also trained on advanced tools she can use to monitor the health and traffic of her site: Google Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics.
